Photography Pricing & Investment Guide
Thank you for considering Twin Dragonflies Photography Studio to capture your family's most meaningful moments. The studio is based in West San Jose and serves families across Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, and surrounding Bay Area communities.
All photography sessions include professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered via digital download. Professional prints and artwork are also available for purchase.
Outdoor sessions are scheduled during golden hour for the most flattering natural light, and every delivered image is provided in both color and black & white versions.
Sessions often book 1–2 months in advance, so early booking is recommended, though last-minute availability may sometimes be available.
Session Booking & Policies
• A non-refundable $300 retainer secures your session date and pricing.
• Remaining balance is due on session day.
• Newborn sessions are scheduled on weekdays only.
• Weekend and holiday sessions are available for an additional $150.
• Due to the custom nature of photography services, all sales are final.
• Images may be used in studio portfolio and promotional materials unless privacy rights are purchased separately. Please ask the price before booking!
Studio Newborn Photography

Studio newborn sessions take place in a warm and comfortable West San Jose studio and include full access to wraps, props, and styling accessories.
Newborn photography is best scheduled within the first 7–20 days after birth, when babies sleep deeply and pose naturally. Families typically reserve sessions during pregnancy to secure availability around their due date.
Sessions move slowly to allow time for feeding, soothing, and breaks, ensuring baby comfort throughout.
In-home Lifestyle Newborn Sessions
Packages start at $1250
Lifestyle newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home, capturing natural family interactions and connection with your new baby.
These sessions focus on storytelling rather than posed newborn setups and include parents, siblings, and even pets. Sessions last about 60–90 minutes and move at baby’s pace.
Maternity Photography Sessions

The ideal time for maternity photography is between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy, though sessions are tailored to each mother’s comfort.

Cake smash sessions celebrate your baby's first birthday with custom-designed setups and playful portraits. Sessions include personalized styling and outfit options for your baby, with optional family portraits included.
All setups use real props rather than printed backdrops, creating timeless results.
Baby Milestone Sessions
Packages start at $650
Milestone sessions document your baby's growth during the first year, including stages such as rolling over, sitting, crawling, standing, or first steps.
Sessions can focus solely on baby or include family portraits, capturing each stage in a natural and timeless style.
Professional Headshot Sessions
Packages start at $350
Headshot sessions take place in the West San Jose studio and are designed for professionals seeking polished portraits.
Guidance is provided for wardrobe, posing, and expression, with multiple background and lighting options available.
