We recommend booking maternity and newborn sessions during your second trimester to secure availability. Family and milestone sessions are typically booked 4–8 weeks in advance, especially during busy seasons.
What if we need to reschedule?
We understand that unexpected situations, especially with young children or weather conditions, can arise. If you need to reschedule due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, we will gladly work with you to find the next available date for your session.
When is the best time for a newborn session?
Newborn sessions are ideally photographed within the first 5–14 days after birth when babies are sleepiest and most comfortable for posed images.
Do you provide outfits or props for sessions?
Yes. The studio offers a curated collection of props, wraps, headbands, and maternity gowns. We also guide families on what to wear to achieve a cohesive look.
How long does a newborn session typically last?
Session length varies by type. Newborn sessions usually last 2–3 hours to allow time for feeding and soothing.
Can parents and siblings join the session?
Absolutely. We encourage parents and siblings to participate so we can capture beautiful family connections along with individual portraits.
When will we receive our photos?
Your proof gallery is usually delivered within 2 weeks after the session. Final edited images are delivered 1-2 weeks after selections are made.
Where do outdoor sessions usually take place?
We use several scenic Bay Area locations featuring greenery, open fields, redwoods, or gardens. We help select a location based on season, lighting, and your preferred style.
What happens if we need to reschedule?
We understand that life with little ones can be unpredictable. Sessions can be rescheduled due to illness or weather, and we’ll work together to find the next available date.
